Developed in partnership with the Technical University of Darmstadt, Urban Pioneers utilises a methodology that integrates low cost/maintenance vegetation into a building's free spaces (facades & roof) leading to lower emissions, cooler temperatures, and a more efficient HVAC
PLANNING
Using our Climate Cooling Calculation Tool, we can determine what percentage of your building can be used for planting vegetation. We also take the building's location into account to determine the kinds of plants & vegetation that can be used
INSTALLING
The plants are self sufficient. We integrate with your building's HVAC to collect and repurpose rainwater collected throughout the year
COOLING
Once implemented, the vegetation performs a crucial task: evapotranspiration.
The plants achieve a cooling effect as it absorbs both the collected rain water and the carbon emitted by the building and its services
